A fundamental Work about Humanization of Modern Economics

About prof. Giorgi Malashkhia's book "Hatred of capitalism and socialism." Global Metamorphoses and the Future of mankind Humanism". Palmarium Academic Publishing (in Russian, pg. 886)
Prof. Giorgi Malashkhia is a well-known author of several economic, philosophic, and sociologic publicist works as well as literary compositions.
They cover the most crucial issues facing mankind. This time he puts himself forward as the author of the new fundamental work that addresses these topics.
It is worth mentioning that prof. Giorgi Malashkhia applies for analysis a specific methodology that views events and discusses them in the context of universal values, morality and justice. The author at the same time uses an anthropocentric perspective in his research, discussing social events from the perspective of a person's needs and limitations, as well as an axiomatic, value-based view of events and a eudemonistic perspective, which is to assess people's lives from the perspective of happiness. He also applies the genetic method that takes into account the role of heredity.
Prof. Giorgi Malashkhia's book concerns crucial events and processes of mankind's history, bringing out morality and fairness precisely as fundamental human values. The whole historic process of humanity is presented exactly as progressive pathways of morals and justice. Herewith, history is discussed as a process of a struggle for fairness, which pushes humankind to move from a lower stage of justice to a higher one. Fairness is viewed as the main axis of people's life progress. It is clearly demonstrated that so far only a part of the pathway is covered in this direction, and many more problems are yet to be solved.
A great deal of attention is devoted to the analysis of capitalism. The economic, social, and political signs of capitalism are uniquely portrayed in the book. Capitalism as a historical stage of mankind's development, as advancement compared to the previous era is abundantly well-presented. As evidence of this, the growth of manufacturing forces, economic improvement, social and life-related processes associated with these changes are reflected in the work. At the same time, contrary to dominating and established views, the author attributes the results of development to the progress in science, education and humanity as such. According to the author, this led to the transition to capitalism rather than crediting capitalism itself for the progress.
Prof. Giorgi Malashkhia's book originally and convincingly presents the shortcomings and contradictions of capitalism (market economy) and the problems within society that capitalism was not able to resolve and which cannot be resolved within this system.
The author with many convincing arguments rejects the prevailing viewpoint that capitalism will always exist and that market economy is the only viable option. He clearly and substantially presents the shortcomings of capitalism. The author utilizes convincing arguments to challenge the prevailing notion that capitalism will always exist and that market economy is the only viable option. He explains the drawbacks of capitalism logically and understandably, which specifically consist of labor relations, the existence of wage labor, which is the sale of labor, the unfair buyer and seller relationship in the labor market, and the unjust wealth distribution, property imbalance between individuals linked to capitalism, uncontrollable events in the market, anarchy in the economy, flaws in the political system, inferiority of democracy, etc.
This, along with the presence of other negative aspects, makes capitalism irrelevant in the context of achieving higher stages of civilization. The author's conclusion, that desired stage of civilization in the capitalist era is yet to come, is quite persuasive.
The author starts the discussion about socialism by reviewing its historical roots. The work indicates, that we can stumble upon certain elements and practical signs of socialistic ideas in ancient times from the lives of different people. Generally, typical signs of a socialistic system: a shared form of property, relative equality, etc. are present in the common human arsenal, which socialism (communism) assimilated as the main characteristics of humanistic society. From this perspective, it is viewed as more progressive than capitalism. However, the author indicates that in the part of the world, where socialism had been present for decades (USSR and several European countries), attempts to establish social ideals were unsuccessful.
The path to socialism, which consisted of violent, revolutionary changes based on Marxism-Leninism ideology, was not justified. While it could not materialize ideals representing its essence, it served as a cause of severe destruction and misery. It especially concerns the democratic advancement of society.
Prof. Giorgi Malashkhia also showed clearly that some of the characteristics of socialism are common to all mankind, they are typical to many of the countries in European Union or other continents. The author's opinion is significant, it states, that behavior/approaches common for socialistic system are more or fewer concomitants of all countries, and if we take a closer look, it is very obvious as well. It is vividly expressed in capitalistic countries themselves - having shared property, utilization of budgetary and other social funds for shared ambitions, social welfare system, selfless mutual aids between people, etc.
Prof.Giorgi Malashkhia explores modern trends of social progress as well and demonstrated in original manner characteristics and directions. This is seen in tendencies, which according to the author, lead us to a newly established post-capitalism and post-socialist systems, which the author considers to be truly humane societies and which the author refers to as "Humanoism”.
Shifting to mentioned social order, which the author presents as the undisputed future of mankind, is conditioned by the vast number of terms. Unlike conceptions prevailing in science, prof. Giorgi Malashkhia considers human intellectual progress and advancement of education, science, technology, and increasing awareness of mankind to be the origin of all sorts of social-economic, cultural, and political progress. It is followed by the establishment of verity in one’s life and liberating humans from viciousness, selfishness, greediness, aggression, and all forms of evil. True, the new ethic revolution. This is depicted as a transformation from an egocentric to an altruistic environment. It ultimately signifies the triumph of truth. Residing in the universe of love.
This is the promising future of mankind's life, envisioned by prof. Giorgi Malashkhia, the certainty of which was confirmed by the author with pertinent arguments provided in the book. For that, he undoubtedly deserves sympathy.
The book comprises several supreme updates of Economic theory. It indeed represents the paramount achievement of science.
